משמש בנוסף גם כמרצה בפקולטה לרפואה בגליל, אוניברסיטת בר אילן, וכחבר ועד החברה לרפואת האם והעובר בישראל.
במסגרת תפקידו אחראי על אבחון וטיפול בנשים ועובריהן בהריון בסיכון גבוה. ביחידה מאושפזות נשים אשר לגביהן יש חשש לפתח סיבוכי הריון, דוגמת: לידה מוקדמת, ריבוי מי שפיר, מיעוט מי שפיר, עיכוב בצמיחה עוברית, היפרדות שלייה ומחלות אימהיות או עובריות אחרות דוגמת רעלת הריון, קרישיות יתר, מומים עובריים, סוכרת הריונית, יתר לחץ דם, מחלות כליה ועוד.

הכשרה ולימודים:
בעל תואר MD מהטכניון, חיפה, שנת 1990.
זוכה פרס הרופא המצטיין בבית החולים פוריה לשנת 2003. זוכה פרס המרצה המצטיין בפקולטה לרפואה, הטכניון, חיפה בשנים: 2004, 2006, 2008.
