Unit : High-risk Pregnancy

The High-risk Pregnancy and Prenatal HospitalizationUnit is subordinate to the Gynecological and Obstetrics Department headed by Dr. Yuri Flitz.

The Unit deals with the diagnosis and treatment of high-risk pregnant women and fetuses. The Unit hospitalizes women for whom there is a concern for potential pregnancy complications, such as: premature delivery, excessive or insufficient amniotic fluid, fetal developmental delays, placental detachment and other maternal or fetal diseases such as toxicosis, excessive coagulation, cardiological defects, gestational diabetes, hypertension, kidney diseases, and more. The diagnosis, treatment, support and close observation provided by the Department can substantially mitigate complications and provide the best obstetric outcomes possible
